Comes with ONE strap which hooks to your seat belt . Dog must wear a HARNESS when using this seat. If wanting this carseat for 2 dogs , you must purchase an extra strap . Each seat is made from sturdy foam and then covered with "pleather" , a leather looking fabric called naugahyde
